The Estate
House Altara is a 52-acre property set between the valley floor and the peaks of the Wasatch Range in Northern Utah.
Rather than receptions, ceremonies, and after-parties in different venues, our property features spaces and moments designed to gather and host, or seclude and retreat.

The Residence
A 7,200 sq ft residence with nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Accommodates up to 25 guests, with multiple gathering spaces and direct access to the outdoors.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The Ridge House
A gathering space for smaller events up to 60 people. Upper level lodging includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to 6 guests.
GATHERINGS
The Event Center
A 6,300 sq ft indoor and outdoor setting designed for weddings and large gatherings of up to 175 guests. Opening Summer 2027.

Located in Northern Utah, within close proximity to Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Pineview Reservoir. About 40 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and SLC International Airport and one hour from Park City.

The History
House Altara was originally built in 1999 as a family home in the mountains of Northern Utah. It operated off-grid, powered by a windmill.
Rather than start over, the structure was reworked from what was already here — preserving its footprint while reshaping everything within it.
